Prior to surgery:

• A nurse from RVSC will call you the day prior to your
  scheduled procedure to discuss the procedure and any
  concerns you may have.

Day of surgery:

• On the day of your procedure, please arrive one hour
  before the scheduled time. If you have been asked to
  arrive earlier, it will be discussed with you the day before
  surgery.



• Please bring your insurance cards, comfortable clothing
  and a responsible adult to take you home.



• If you have concerns about financial arrangements
  please contact Patient Registration prior to the scheduled
  procedure.



• RVSC staff will contact your insurance company repre-
  sentative for pre-certification if it is required prior to
  surgery.

Following surgery:

• The day following your procedure, a nurse will call you to
  check on your progress. If you have questions at that
  time, she/he will assist you.
